TECH SHEET - FLUSHINGIt is important to remove all fabrication debris prior to system start-up. To achieve this goal it is most effective to measure the particle count of the hydraulic oil at regular intervals during the flushing procedure using S.A.E. 598 ARP. The use of the "Millipore" method outlined in this standard enables those in charge of flushing to visually determine the type of contamination and take appropriate action to remove it. The correct cleanliness level of the system is determined by the demands of the most critical component in the system.
